Supporting Our Community's Heroes
First responders play a crucial role in communities by providing immediate assistance during emergencies. These individuals include firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other medical professionals who respond to crisis situations. The importance of first responders cannot be overstated, as they are often the first point of contact for individuals in distress.
Because First Responders dedicate their lives to serving the community, we often forget they too are members of our community. Educationally, there are not many financial resources that exist for first responders who would like to pursue higher academic achievement.
The Clayton Chamber Foundation has identified this need and has partnered with United Community Bank to provide funding to our Clayton Police officers, Clayton Firefighters, and Johnston County EMS who are focused on bringing higher quality outcomes to our community through educational advancement.
